Matthew Cecil vs Robert Forson

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 08/10/2041 from Eugene, USA:

The Eugene venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Matthew Cecil (34 - 4) who hails from Portland, USA and Robert Forson(6 - 14) from Grand Rapids, USA.  

Round 1: 

Forson tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Forson forces Cecil to retreat into the corner.  Forson attempts to land a right uppercut, but Cecil blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Forson steps inside.  Forson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Cecil is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Forson's body.

Cecil digs in a stinging left uppercut to Forson's liver.  
Forson advances into close range and lands a right uppercut.

Forson connects with a right hook.

Cecil voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Forson tries to tag Cecil on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Forson drives a right hook into Cecil's ribcage.  
Cecil steps away from his opponent.  Forson throws an overhand left, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Cecil is on target with a right uppercut.  
Cecil hits home with a right hook.  
Forson advances into close range.  Forson quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Cecil's ribs.  
Cecil lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Forson steps inside and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Cecil tries to step out of his opponents range.  Forson lands a cross.  
Forson advances into close range.  Cecil throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Cecil clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Forson is on target with a right uppercut to Cecil's ribs.
