Takeo Higashi vs Jun Fukuda

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/10/2041 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Takeo Higashi (52(7) - 8) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Jun Fukuda(6 - 13) from Saitama, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Higashi lands a firm left uppercut.  
Fukuda quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Higashi lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Higashi is looking to close the distance.  Higashi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Higashi throws a left hook, but is unable to find the target.  Higashi ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Fukuda hits home with a left uppercut.  
Higashi walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Fukuda throws a left uppercut, but Higashi clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Higashi pushes his forearm into Fukuda's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Higashi lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Higashi advances into close range.  Fukuda drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Higashi lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Fukuda is on target with a stinging left uppercut.  Higashi clinches his opponent.  Fukuda is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Higashi's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Higashi lands with a hard jab.

Higashi advances into close range and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Higashi drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Fukuda tries to land a jab, but Higashi dodges the shot and counters with a HUGE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE FUKUDA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!
