Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/10/2041 from Duque de Cazias, Brazil:

The Duque de Cazias venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Vicente Mario (18 - 4) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Steven Fridge(7 - 26(1)) from Calgary, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Mario closes the distance.  Mario pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Fridge is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Fridge is on target with a right hook.  
Mario is looking to close the distance.  Mario pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Fridge lands a jab to the head, a left hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Mario lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Fridge connects with a left uppercut.  
Mario steps inside.  Fridge throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Mario quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Fridge finds the target with a solid jab.  
Mario gets on the inside.  Mario pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a left hook.

Fridge lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mario pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Fridge feints a left, and then attempts to land a right hook, but Mario blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Mario snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Mario sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Fridge lands a left hook.

Mario closes the distance.  Mario pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mario's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight. Fridge's trainer is telling his fighter to go out and knock out his opponent!
