Kazuki Shimizu vs Kei Arai

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/10/2041 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Kazuki Shimizu (48 - 9) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Kei Arai(1 - 1) from Okazaki, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Shimizu lands a jab to the head, a right hook to the body and a jab to the head.  
Shimizu tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a cross.  
Shimizu switches the action to the outside.  Shimizu feints a jab, and then is on target with a sharp overhand left.  
Arai closes the distance and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Arai advances into close range.  Shimizu throws a right hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  Shimizu ties up his opponent.  Shimizu is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Shimizu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Shimizu steps away from his opponent.  Shimizu waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Arai throws an overhand right, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Shimizu tries to keep the action at long range.  Shimizu drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Arai tries to land a cross, but Shimizu dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Arai gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Shimizu tries to step out of his opponents range.  Shimizu feints a right hook, and then connects with an overhand left.
