Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/10/2041 from Sheffield, UK:

The Sheffield venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John MacGill (67 - 6) who hails from Sheffield, UK and Leszek Strojny(3 - 4) from Vilnius, Lithuania.  

Round 1:

MacGill closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to Strojny's ribs.  
Strojny pivots to the left of his opponent, but MacGill finds the target with a jab.  
MacGill lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  MacGill clinches his opponent.  MacGill leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, MacGill pushes his forearm into Strojny's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures MacGill about fouling.

MacGill lands a right hook.  MacGill tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Strojny throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
MacGill throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch with a sidestep.  MacGill ties up his opponent.  Strojny leans on his opponent using all his weight. Strojny is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Strojny to stop fouling.

MacGill closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  MacGill ties up his opponent.  Strojny leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
