Brendan Dingwall vs Lee Morgan

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 05/11/2041 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Brendan Dingwall (45(4) - 4) who hails from Miami, USA and Lee Morgan(0 - 4) from Nashville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Dingwall gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Dingwall holds on to his opponent.  Dingwall pushes his forearm into Morgan's face.  The ref breaks Dingwall's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Morgan lands a stiff jab.  Morgan attempts to land a jab, but Dingwall sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Morgan tries to keep the action at long range.  Dingwall lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Dingwall closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  Dingwall holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Dingwall pushes his forearm into Morgan's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Morgan pivots from in front of his opponent.  Dingwall lands with a ramrod jab.  Dingwall attempts to land a right uppercut, but Morgan slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Dingwall is on target with a jab.  
Dingwall gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Dingwall advances into close range and digs in a right uppercut to Morgan's body.  Dingwall clinches his opponent.  Dingwall throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Dingwall is looking to close the distance.  Morgan throws a left hook, but Dingwall ties up his opponent.  Dingwall is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Dingwall to stop fouling.  
Dingwall lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Dingwall lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Dingwall closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Dingwall clinches his opponent.  Dingwall is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Morgan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Dingwall pivots from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Dingwall hits home with a left hook.  
Dingwall is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Morgan attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Dingwall to the neutral corner.  He warns Morgan that he could be heading for a point deduction.  
Morgan is on target with a cross.  
Dingwall advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Dingwall is on target with a stinging left hook.

Dingwall walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Dingwall hits home with a right uppercut.

Dingwall tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Morgan behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dingwall lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Dingwall lands a right hook.  Dingwall clinches his opponent.  Dingwall is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Dingwall's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Dingwall lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Dingwall advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Dingwall lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Dingwall manouvers Morgan into a neutral corner.  Dingwall is on target with a solid right hook.  
Dingwall quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Dingwall is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Dingwall whips in a hurtful left uppercut to Morgan's liver.  MORGAN IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Morgan has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
