Diego Leyva vs Lucas Anders

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/12/2041 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Leyva (8 - 4) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Lucas Anders(1 - 2) from Nassau, Bahamas.  

Round 1: 

Leyva gets on the inside.  Leyva quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Anders lands a left hook.  
Leyva is on target with a stinging cross.  
Leyva lands a right hook, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Leyva is looking to close the distance.  Anders throws a right hook, but Leyva ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Leyva pushes his forearm into Anders's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Leyva.  
Leyva is on target with an overhand right.  
Leyva gets on the inside and connects with a firm right hook.  
Leyva advances into close range.  Anders lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Anders quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Leyva is on target with a right hook.  
Leyva lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Leyva steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Leyva lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Anders sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Anders walks Leyva down, trapping him on the ropes.  Leyva drives a right hook into his opponents body.

Leyva tries to land a jab, but Anders sidesteps and counters with a cross.

Leyva gets on the inside.  Anders throws a left hook, but Leyva ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Anders pushes his forearm into Leyva's face.  The referee warns Anders and breaks the clinch.  
Leyva drives a sharp jab into his opponents face.  
Leyva is looking to keep the action on the outside and connects with a firm cross.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Anders's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
