Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 16/12/2041 from Los Angeles, USA:

The Los Angeles venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Clint Boothe (46(1) - 9) who hails from Fresno, USA and Clint Cruz(1 - 3) from Albuquerque, USA.  

Round 1: 

Boothe lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Boothe gets on the inside.  Boothe sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cruz tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Cruz throws a left hook, but Boothe holds on to his opponent.  Cruz leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Boothe gets on the inside and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Boothe lands a solid cross.  
Cruz switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Boothe closes the distance.  Cruz throws a right hook, but Boothe ties up his opponent.  Boothe is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Boothe's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Boothe hits home with a stinging left uppercut.  
Boothe lands with a spiteful jab.  
Boothe steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Boothe is on target with a left hook to Cruz's body.  
Cruz drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Boothe lands a stinging left hook.  
Boothe lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Boothe steps inside and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Boothe ties up his opponent.  Boothe is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Boothe and breaks the clinch.  Cruz almost instantly recovers.

Cruz tries to step out of his opponents range.  Boothe lands a cross.  Boothe attempts to land an overhand left, but Cruz dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to Boothe's body.

Boothe lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Boothe connects with a sharp cross.

Boothe steps inside.  Boothe pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Boothe lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cruz sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Boothe connects with a solid left hook.

Boothe hits home with a right hook.  Boothe ties up his opponent.  Boothe is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Boothe's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Cruz's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!
