Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/12/2041 from Moscow, Russia:

The Moscow venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lazar Dobrow (26 - 11) who hails from Moscow, Russia and Andrii Povetkin(1 - 1) from Perm, Russia.  

Round 1: 

Dobrow steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Povetkin throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Povetkin steps inside.  Povetkin pivots to the right of his opponent, but Dobrow lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Povetkin lands a straight 1 - 2.  Povetkin attempts to land a jab, but Dobrow blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook to Povetkin's body.  
Dobrow switches the action to the outside.  Dobrow sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.

Povetkin tries to step out of his opponents range.  Povetkin stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Dobrow lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Povetkin advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Dobrow steps to the outside.  Dobrow feints a right, and then hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Povetkin is on target with a firm right hook.

Povetkin throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Dobrow hits home with a solid jab.  
Povetkin walks Dobrow down, trapping him on the ropes.  Povetkin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Povetkin is on target with a sharp right hook.  Dobrow clinches his opponent.  Povetkin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Povetkin about fouling.  
Povetkin manouvers Dobrow onto the ropes.  Povetkin pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Dobrow is on target with a firm overhand right.  
Povetkin advances into close range and tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
