Rafael Capo vs Alano Buenaventura

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/12/2041 from Camaguey, Cuba:

The Camaguey venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rafael Capo (3 - 2) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Alano Buenaventura(12 - 9) from Camaguey, Cuba.  

Round 1: 

Capo closes the distance.  Buenaventura drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Capo advances into close range.  Buenaventura digs in a right hook to Capo's body.  
Buenaventura cuts off the ring, trapping Capo on the ropes.  Buenaventura pivots from in front of his opponent.  Capo throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Buenaventura throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Buenaventura steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Buenaventura lands with a spiteful jab.  
Buenaventura pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Buenaventura tries to step out of his opponents range.  Capo lands a sharp cross.  
Capo advances into close range.  Buenaventura lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Buenaventura lands a right hook to the body followed by two left hook's to the head.  
Buenaventura hits home with a left hook.  
Buenaventura finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Buenaventura gets on the inside and lands a firm left uppercut.  
Capo throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Buenaventura time to recover.  
Capo is looking to keep his distance and connects with a firm overhand left.  
Buenaventura throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Capo throws a right hook, but Buenaventura clinches his opponent.  Buenaventura leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Capo steps to the outside.  Buenaventura hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Buenaventura walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Buenaventura pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Buenaventura's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Capo closes the distance.  Buenaventura hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Capo steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Capo gets on the inside and hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Capo steps inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Buenaventura throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Buenaventura ties up his opponent.  Capo pushes his forearm into Buenaventura's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Capo to stop fouling.
