Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 29/12/2041 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Joe Adee (51(25) - 13) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Davie Mattix(2 - 2(1)) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Adee steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mattix sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Adee is on target with a firm right hook to Mattix's ribcage.  
Adee closes the distance and digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  Adee attempts to land a right hook, but Mattix slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Adee drives a stinging right hook into Mattix's body.  
Adee hits home with a sharp jab.  
Adee closes the distance.  Adee pivots to the side of his opponent.  Adee digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  Adee holds on to his opponent.  Adee pushes his forearm into Mattix's face.  The referee warns Adee and breaks the clinch.

Adee advances into close range and throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Adee ties up his opponent.  Adee throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Adee attempts to land a jab, but Mattix blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Mattix contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Adee finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Adee is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Adee ties up his opponent.  Adee leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Adee lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Adee lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND MATTIX IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Mattix recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Adee cuts off the ring, trapping Mattix on the ropes.  Adee quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Mattix throws a left hook, but Adee clinches his opponent.  Mattix is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mattix advances into close range.  Adee drives a sharp left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Adee hits home with a firm cross.  
Adee lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Adee hits home with a sharp left uppercut.  Adee holds on to his opponent.  Adee uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Mattix's kidney. Adee leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Mattix throws a left hook, but Adee clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Adee pushes his forearm into Mattix's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Adee about fouling.  
Mattix is on target with a stinging jab.  Mattix throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Adee time to recover.  
Adee advances into close range.  Adee quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Mattix's body.  
Adee lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Mattix recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Adee closes the distance.  Mattix tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mattix's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!
