Boxing Daily Report from the Africa Boxing Championships 2042,  taking place on 09/01/2042 from Harare, Zimbabwe:

The Harare venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Tariq Ghermati (5 - 5) who hails from Algiers, Algeria and Declan Mapumbumakunza(55 - 13(1)) from Khayelitsha, South Africa.  

Round 1: 

Mapumbumakunza advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Ghermati gets on the inside and tries to land a right hook, but Mapumbumakunza blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Mapumbumakunza drives a left hook into Ghermati's ribs.
