Rafael Capo vs Alano Buenaventura

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 12/01/2042 from Camaguey, Cuba:

The Camaguey venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rafael Capo (5 - 6) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Alano Buenaventura(13 - 9) from Camaguey, Cuba.  

Round 1: 

Buenaventura lands a left hook.  
Buenaventura closes the distance.  Capo lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Buenaventura is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Buenaventura gets on the inside.  Capo attempts to land a right uppercut, but Buenaventura sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Buenaventura pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Buenaventura lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Capo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Buenaventura is on target with an overhand left.

Capo closes the distance and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Buenaventura feints a cross, and then snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Capo closes the distance.  Buenaventura throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Buenaventura ties up his opponent.  Capo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Capo about fouling.  
Buenaventura steps to the outside.  Buenaventura feints a right hook, and then hits home with a cross.  
Buenaventura contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Capo hits home with a cross.  
Capo is looking to close the distance and throws a right uppercut, but Buenaventura holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Buenaventura pushes his forearm into Capo's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Capo is on target with a firm cross.  
Buenaventura lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Capo's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Capo is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Capo throws a left hook, but Buenaventura holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Buenaventura pushes his forearm into Capo's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Buenaventura.  
Buenaventura feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.
