Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 19/01/2042 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Rodrigo Saldana (67(16) - 8) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Rodrigo Camilo(1 - 1) from Salta, Argentina.  

Round 1: 

Camilo lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Saldana pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  
Saldana throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Saldana holds on to his opponent.  Saldana uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Camilo behind the head. 
Camilo drives a left hook into Saldana's body.  
Saldana steps inside and is on target with a firm left uppercut to Camilo's body.  Saldana clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Saldana pushes his forearm into Camilo's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Saldana about fouling.  
Saldana drives a firm left hook into Camilo's body.  
Camilo tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Camilo is on target with a jab.  
Saldana lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.

Saldana lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Saldana gets on the inside and forces Camilo to back into a corner.  Saldana hits home with a left uppercut.

Saldana lands a BRUTAL right hook.  CAMILO IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Saldana digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.

He manages to get up at 5.  Saldana holds on to his opponent.  Saldana leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Camilo pushes his forearm into Saldana's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Camilo to stop fouling.
