Lloyd Krabbe vs Dale Lyons

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 27/01/2042 from St. Louis, USA:

The St. Louis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Lloyd Krabbe (43(1) - 19) who hails from Kansas City, USA and Dale Lyons(1 - 8) from Independence, USA.  

Round 1: 

Krabbe throws a right hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Krabbe clinches his opponent.  Krabbe is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Krabbe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Lyons waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Krabbe throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Krabbe is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Krabbe attempts to land a right uppercut, but Lyons sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Lyons lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Krabbe lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Krabbe forces Lyons to retreat onto the ropes.  Lyons is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Lyons lands a left hook.  
Krabbe finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Krabbe hits home with a sharp cross.  
Krabbe throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Krabbe lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Krabbe forces Lyons to retreat into a neutral corner.  Krabbe lands a right uppercut.  
Krabbe cuts off the ring, trapping Lyons on the ropes.  Krabbe quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Lyons's body.

Lyons hits home with a left hook.  Krabbe ties up his opponent.  Krabbe pushes his forearm into Lyons's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Krabbe digs in a right hook to Lyons's ribcage.  
Lyons throws a left hook, but Krabbe holds on to his opponent.  Krabbe pushes his forearm into Lyons's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Krabbe to stop fouling.  
Lyons throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Krabbe holds on to his opponent.  Lyons leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Krabbe lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Lyons throws a left hook, but Krabbe ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Krabbe's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Krabbe drives a firm right uppercut into his opponents body.  Krabbe ties up his opponent.  Lyons leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Lyons tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Krabbe lands a left hook.  
Krabbe closes the distance.  Lyons connects with a left uppercut.  Lyons tries to land a right hook, but Krabbe sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Krabbe steps inside and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lyons's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Krabbe throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Lyons's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Krabbe lands a stinging left hook.  
Krabbe sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Lyons is looking to close the distance.  Krabbe lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Krabbe sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Krabbe drives a telling right uppercut into his opponents body.  LYONS IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  Lyons now seems to have his senses back.  
Lyons throws a left hook, but Krabbe ties up his opponent.  Lyons pushes his forearm into Krabbe's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Krabbe is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Krabbe lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Krabbe senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Krabbe connects with a hurtful left hook.  LYONS IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT LYONS CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Krabbe!
