Diego Caraveo vs Federico Sagun

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 10/02/2042 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Diego Caraveo (23 - 8) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Federico Sagun(1 - 0) from San Juan, Puerto Rico.  

Round 1: 

Caraveo is looking to keep his distance and lands a ramrod jab.  
Sagun drives a left hook into Caraveo's body.  
Sagun connects with a right hook.  
Sagun hits home with a right uppercut.  Sagun throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Caraveo's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Caraveo tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Caraveo switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Caraveo hits home with a hard jab.  
Caraveo lands a ramrod jab.  
Sagun digs in a left hook to Caraveo's body.  
Sagun advances into close range and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Sagun pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Caraveo lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sagun is looking to close the distance and tries to land a right hook, but Caraveo blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Caraveo hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Caraveo switches the action to the outside and lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Caraveo feints a cross, and then finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Caraveo tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a solid cross.  
Sagun drives a right hook into Caraveo's body.

Caraveo switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
Sagun walks Caraveo down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Caraveo lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Caraveo steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Caraveo connects with a right hook.  
Sagun forces Caraveo to back into the ropes.  Sagun sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Caraveo is looking to keep the action on the outside and attempts to land an overhand right, but Sagun sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Sagun connects with a solid left hook.  
Caraveo lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Caraveo lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Caraveo switches the action to the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Sagun pivots to the right of his opponent.  Sagun throws a left hook, but Caraveo holds on to his opponent.  Caraveo pushes his forearm into Sagun's face.  The referee warns Caraveo and breaks the clinch.  
Sagun is on target with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Caraveo's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight. Sagun's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Caraveo is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Caraveo feints a right hook, and then lands a stinging jab.  
Caraveo lands a ramrod jab.  
Caraveo switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Caraveo feints a jab, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Caraveo circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Sagun hits home with a cross.  
Caraveo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.
