Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 14/02/2042 from Bergen, Norway:

The Bergen venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Luka Mezumalis (3 - 15) who hails from Riga, Latvia and Balder Sveum(4 - 19) from Bergen, Norway.

Sveum quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but  throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Sveum's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Sveum pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Mezumalis steps inside.  Mezumalis pivots to the side of his opponent, but Sveum lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Mezumalis steps to the outside and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Sveum feints a right hook, and then finds the target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mezumalis's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!  Sveum's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.

Sveum switches the action to the outside.  Sveum quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Sveum attempts to land a jab, but Mezumalis sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Mezumalis hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Mezumalis gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Sveum digs in a left hook to Mezumalis's body.  
Sveum tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mezumalis connects with a cross.  
Mezumalis steps inside and manouvers Sveum onto the ropes.  Mezumalis sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Sveum's ribs.  
Mezumalis lands a cross followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Mezumalis lands a jab.  
Mezumalis lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Sveum sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Mezumalis lands an overhand left.
