Orson Radiguet vs Harvey Barclay

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/02/2042 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Orson Radiguet (31 - 4) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Harvey Barclay(3 - 13(1)) from Brisbane, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Radiguet lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Radiguet throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Barclay closes the distance.  Radiguet lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Radiguet is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right.

Radiguet hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Radiguet lands with a ramrod jab.  
Barclay is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Radiguet sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Radiguet is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Barclay connects with a cross.  
Barclay advances into close range.  Radiguet lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Radiguet steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a cross, but Barclay sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Barclay manages to force Radiguet onto the ropes.  Barclay lands a right uppercut.

Barclay pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross.

Barclay gets on the inside.  Barclay quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Radiguet lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Radiguet steps away from his opponent.  Radiguet feints a right hook, and then hits home with a spiteful jab.

Barclay manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Barclay hits home with a right hook.  
Barclay connects with a left hook.  
Barclay is looking to close the distance.  Radiguet throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Radiguet holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Barclay pushes his forearm into Radiguet's face.  The ref breaks Radiguet's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
