Leroy Jalabert vs Mark Kemp

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 25/02/2042 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leroy Jalabert (22 - 1) who hails from Lonueuil, Canada and Mark Kemp(1 - 18) from Melbourne, Australia.  

Round 1: 

Jalabert steps inside.  Kemp connects with a left uppercut.  
Kemp sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Jalabert lands with a spiteful jab.  
Kemp sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Jalabert hits the target with a solid jab.  
Jalabert gets on the inside and lands a sharp right hook.  
Jalabert advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Jalabert walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Jalabert lands a left hook.

Kemp is looking to keep the action on the outside and drives a jab into Jalabert's body.  Kemp throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Jalabert gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Jalabert is looking to close the distance.  Kemp throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut to Kemp's ribcage.

Kemp throws a left hook, but Jalabert holds on to his opponent.  Jalabert is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Jalabert connects with a sharp left hook.  Jalabert holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks Jalabert's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
