Fanuco Santa vs Hiroki Machida

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/03/2042 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:

The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fanuco Santa (61 - 13) who hails from Sao Goncalo, Brazil and Hiroki Machida(2 - 18) from Hamamatsu, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Santa drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Machida lands a stinging jab.  Machida throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Santa steps to the outside.  Machida lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Machida steps inside and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Santa lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Machida lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Santa steps away from his opponent.  Santa quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Santa is looking to keep his distance.  Santa feints a cross, and then lands an overhand left, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Machida is on target with a right hook.  
Santa steps to the outside.  Machida finds the target with a jab.  
Santa tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross to Machida's body.

Santa lands a solid left uppercut.  
Machida steps inside.  Machida sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Santa lands a left hook.  
Machida lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Santa tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Santa is on target with an overhand left.  
Santa steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.
