Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/03/2042 from Minneapolis, USA:

The Minneapolis venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are James Hanigan (57(1) - 6) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Mark McAllister(2 - 9) from Salt Lake City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Hanigan advances into close range and connects with a firm left hook.

Hanigan gets on the inside.  McAllister throws a right hook, but Hanigan holds on to his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Hanigan forces McAllister to back into the ropes.  Hanigan drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.

McAllister throws a right hook, but Hanigan holds on to his opponent.  McAllister throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks Hanigan's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Hanigan lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  McAllister almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Hanigan advances into close range.  McAllister throws a right hook, but Hanigan ties up his opponent.  Hanigan uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on McAllister's kidney. Hanigan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hanigan lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, KNOCKING MCALLISTER DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Hanigan cuts off the ring, trapping McAllister in a neutral corner.  Some sustained pressure from Hanigan could be enough to finish McAllister!  Hanigan lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS MCALLISTER DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Hanigan!
