Carolus Huet vs Atif Husain

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 06/03/2042 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carolus Huet (12 - 2) who hails from Gaineau, Canada and Atif Husain(4 - 8) from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.  

Round 1: 

Huet lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Huet steps to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Husain pivots to the left of his opponent.  Husain tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Husain steps inside.  Huet drives a left hook into Husain's body.  
Husain lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Husain advances into close range.  Husain pivots to the side of his opponent.  Husain throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Husain feints a cross, and then lands a right hook to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head.  
Husain steps inside.  Husain pivots to the right of his opponent.  Huet attempts to land a left hook, but Husain slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
Huet steps away from his opponent and throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Huet steps to the outside and connects with a stinging cross.  
Huet is on target with an overhand right.  
Huet hits home with a stinging cross.  
Huet lands an overhand left.  
Huet quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Huet's trainer is telling his fighter to play it safe for the remainder of the fight. Husain's trainer is telling his fighter he needs a knockout to win!

Husain connects with a stinging right hook.  Huet ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Huet pushes his forearm into Husain's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Husain lands a jab.  
Huet advances into close range.  Husain drives a right hook into Huet's ribcage.  Huet holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Husain pushes his forearm into Huet's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Huet hits home with a left uppercut.  
Huet is on target with a left uppercut.  
Husain throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Huet digs in a left hook to Husain's body.  
Husain connects with a stinging right hook.  
Huet pivots from in front of his opponent.  Husain connects with a left hook.  Huet holds on to his opponent.  Huet tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Husain behind the head. The referee warns Huet and breaks the clinch.
