John Buchan vs Noel Kinnick

Boxing Daily Report from the Canada National Finals 2042,  taking place on 11/03/2042 from Mississauga, Canada:

The Mississauga venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Featherweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are John Buchan (5 - 9(3)) who hails from Edmonton, Canada and Noel Kinnick(7 - 3) from Toronto, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Kinnick gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Kinnick advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Buchan switches the action to the outside.  Kinnick lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Buchan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kinnick finds the target with a jab.  Kinnick tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left hook to Kinnick's body.  
Kinnick steps inside.  Buchan sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Kinnick lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Buchan hits home with a cross.  
Buchan steps away from his opponent.  Kinnick lands with a spiteful jab.  
Kinnick strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kinnick's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
