Boxing Daily Report from the China National Finals 2042,  taking place on 11/03/2042 from Dongguan, China:

The Dongguan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jin Dai (14 - 5(1)) who hails from Jinan, China and Lao-Tzu Wu(44(19) - 10) from Hefei, China.  

Round 1:

Wu advances into close range and forces Dai to back into the ropes.  Wu lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Dai switches the action to the outside and connects with an overhand right.  
Dai lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Dai lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Dai tries to land a jab, but Wu blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Wu is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to Dai's body.

Dai drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Wu clinches his opponent.  Wu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Wu pushes his forearm into Dai's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Wu about fouling.

Wu lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.

Dai lands a stiff jab.  Dai tries to land a jab, but Wu sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Dai steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a jab, but Wu sidesteps and counters with a right hook to Dai's ribcage.  
Wu advances into close range.  Wu quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Wu is on target with a firm left hook to Dai's body.  
Wu walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Wu lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Wu ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Dai pushes his forearm into Wu's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Dai connects with a right uppercut.

Dai tries to keep the action at long range and drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
Wu gets on the inside and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Dai switches the action to the outside.  Wu senses Dai is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Wu SLAMS a VICIOUS cross into his opponents face.  DAI IS DOWN!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Wu!
