Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/03/2042 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Andy Dewine (28 - 12) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Juan Plata(1 - 1) from Camaguey, Cuba.  

Round 1: 

Plata lands with a ramrod jab.  
Dewine steps inside.  Dewine pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Dewine connects with a firm left hook.  
Dewine switches the action to the outside.  Dewine feints a jab, and then connects with a cross.  
Dewine lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Dewine lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Plata is on target with a firm right hook.  
Plata lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Plata is looking to close the distance.  Plata sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Dewine lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.

Dewine advances into close range.  Plata throws a right hook, but Dewine clinches his opponent.  Plata leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Plata uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Dewine's kidney. The ref breaks Dewine's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Plata steps inside.  Plata quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Plata throws a left hook, but Dewine holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Plata pushes his forearm into Dewine's face.  The referee warns Plata and breaks the clinch.  
Dewine steps to the outside and is on target with a firm cross.  
Dewine circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Plata is on target with a cross.  
Dewine lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Plata manages to force Dewine into a corner.  Dewine lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two straights to the head.  
Dewine lands a left hook.  
Dewine is looking to keep his distance.  Dewine throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Plata time to recover.
