Boxing Daily Report from the Egypt National Finals 2042,  taking place on 14/03/2042 from Cairo, Egypt:

The Cairo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Haaris Eldahab (4 - 9(1)) who hails from Shubra El-Kheima, Egypt and Zuffur Ashhad(44(6) - 17(2)) from Port Said, Egypt.  

Round 1: 

Ashhad pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Ashhad feints a cross, and then lands a jab to Eldahab's body.  
Eldahab steps inside.  Ashhad connects with a right hook.  Ashhad throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Ashhad lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Eldahab recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Eldahab throws a left hook, but Ashhad holds on to his opponent.  Ashhad is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Eldahab uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Ashhad behind the head. 
Ashhad lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Ashhad sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Ashhad lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Ashhad retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Eldahab steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
Ashhad is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Ashhad is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to Eldahab's body.  
Ashhad digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Ashhad holds on to his opponent.  Ashhad pushes his forearm into Eldahab's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Ashhad.  
Ashhad lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Ashhad ties up his opponent.  Eldahab tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Ashhad behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Eldahab about fouling.

Ashhad steps inside.  Eldahab attempts to land a right hook, but Ashhad slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Eldahab tries to land a cross, but Ashhad parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Eldahab's ribs.  
Eldahab switches the action to the outside.  Ashhad lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Ashhad gets on the inside.  Eldahab quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Eldahab tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ashhad digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Ashhad is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Ashhad hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Eldahab connects with a left hook.  
Ashhad lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, KNOCKING ELDAHAB DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Eldahab quickly recovers. 
Ashhad lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, DROPPING ELDAHAB TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.
