Boxing Daily Report from the China National Finals 2042,  taking place on 17/03/2042 from Dongguan, China:

The Dongguan venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have the Final of the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Li Hom (10 - 4) who hails from Beijing, China and Wang Bok(17(5) - 20(1)) from Kunming, China.  

Round 1:

Hom sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hom throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut.

Bok closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  Bok attempts to land a right hook, but Hom blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.

Bok advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hom switches the action to the outside.  Hom sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Bok lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bok steps inside and walks Hom down, trapping him in the corner.  Hom tries to land a left hook, but Bok sidesteps and counters with a sharp cross.  
Hom throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Hom switches the action to the outside and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Hom is on target with a solid cross.

Hom quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a firm cross.  
Hom pivots to the side of his opponent, but Bok lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Hom tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Bok digs in a stinging left hook to his opponents body.  
Hom switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Bok blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Hom switches the action to the outside and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Hom steps to the outside and lands with a hard jab.  
Hom lands a firm cross.  
Bok walks Hom down, trapping him on the ropes.  Bok lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Bok sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
The right shot from Bok could be enough to force the stoppage!  Bok lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS HOM DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  It looks like Hom has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Bok lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Bok holds on to his opponent.  Bok is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Bok about fouling.  
Hom throws a right hook, but Bok ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Hom pushes his forearm into Bok's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hom to stop fouling.  
Bok gets on the inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  Bok ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Hom lands a stinging left hook.  Hom attempts to land a jab, but Bok dodges the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Bok lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Bok senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Bok lands a left hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS HOM SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Bok!
