Dillon Dow vs Robert Agnew

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 18/03/2042 from Chicago, USA:

The Chicago venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Dillon Dow (48(4) - 9) who hails from Chicago, USA and Robert Agnew(1 - 6) from Philadelphia, USA.  

Round 1: 

Dow is looking to close the distance and lands a sharp right hook.  
Dow lands a firm cross.  
Agnew attempts to land a left hook, but Dow sidesteps and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Dow lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Dow lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Dow lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Agnew throws a left hook, but Dow holds on to his opponent.  Dow is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Dow steps inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Dow holds on to his opponent.  Agnew hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Agnew to stop fouling.  
Dow is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Dow throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Dow holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Dow pushes his forearm into Agnew's face.  The referee warns Dow and breaks the clinch.  
Agnew tries to land a cross, but Dow blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Agnew pivots to the side of his opponent.  Agnew tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook to Agnew's body.  
Dow steps inside.  Dow sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.  
Agnew quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Dow lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Dow lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dow advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Dow holds on to his opponent.  Dow leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Dow uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Agnew behind the head. Agnew almost instantly recovers. 
Dow drives a sharp right uppercut into his opponents body.  Dow clinches his opponent.  Dow tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Agnew's kidney. 
Agnew hits home with a right hook.  
Dow lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Agnew digs in a left hook to Dow's body.  
Agnew advances into close range.  Dow lands a firm left hook.  
Agnew manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Agnew is on target with a left hook to Dow's liver.  
Agnew lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Dow lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Dow gets on the inside.  Agnew throws a left uppercut, but Dow holds on to his opponent.  Dow leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Agnew throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Dow's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Dow digs in a solid right hook to his opponents body.  
Dow is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Dow lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Dow lands with a sharp jab.  
Dow closes the distance and tries to land a left uppercut, but Agnew sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Dow cuts off the ring, trapping Agnew in the corner.  Dow lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Dow sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Dow throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Dow's body.  
Dow lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dow is on target with a solid left uppercut to Agnew's ribs.  
Agnew throws a left hook, but Dow clinches his opponent.  Dow leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Dow's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Dow is on target with a right hook to Agnew's ribcage.  
Dow quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Agnew throws a left uppercut, but Dow holds on to his opponent.  Dow leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Dow's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Dow gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Dow lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Agnew throws a left uppercut, but Dow ties up his opponent.  Dow leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Dow lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Agnew recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dow advances into close range and connects with a firm left hook.  
Dow lands a jab to the head, a cross to the body and a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
The right shot from Dow could be enough to force the stoppage!  Dow lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.  It looks like Agnew has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Dow gets on the inside and connects with a HUGE right hook.  DOWN GOES AGNEW!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Dow!
