Boxing Daily Report from the Guyana National Finals 2042,  taking place on 26/03/2042 from Linden, Guyana:

The Linden venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Bantamweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Leo Bertram (10 - 7) who hails from New Amsterdam, Guyana and Patrick Quier(7 - 6) from Georgetown, Guyana.  

Round 1: 

Quier closes the distance.  Quier pivots from in front of his opponent, but Bertram drives a solid left uppercut into Quier's liver.  
Quier gets on the inside.  Quier sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Bertram throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Quier manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Quier pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a sharp cross.  
Quier tries to land a cross, but Bertram slips the shot and counters with a cross.
