Montrose Girardot vs Xebec Allie

Boxing Daily Report from the France National Finals 2042,  taking place on 29/03/2042 from Nantes, France:

The Nantes venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Semi Final fight in the Light Heavyweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Montrose Girardot (12 - 12(1)) who hails from Grenoble, France and Xebec Allie(19(3) - 18) from Lille, France.  

Round 1: 

Allie pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a cross.  
Girardot gets on the inside and forces Allie to retreat onto the ropes.  Girardot digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Girardot steps away from his opponent and hits home with a ramrod jab.

Allie cuts off the ring, trapping Girardot on the ropes.  Allie lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Allie lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Girardot steps to the outside and connects with a sharp overhand right.  
Girardot lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Girardot tries to keep the action at long range and lands a solid jab.  
Girardot gets on the inside.  Girardot sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Allie throws a left hook, but is off-target.  Allie holds on to his opponent.  Allie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Girardot is looking to keep his distance and attempts to land a jab, but Allie sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Allie hits home with a stinging cross.  
Girardot steps away from his opponent and lands a solid jab.  
Allie sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Allie hits home with a solid right hook.  Allie holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Girardot pushes his forearm into Allie's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Girardot to stop fouling.  
Allie tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Girardot steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a cross, but Allie sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Allie waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Girardot lands a jab.  Girardot tries to land a jab, but Allie blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Allie lands a firm cross.  
Girardot lands a cross.  Girardot tries to land a jab, but Allie sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.

Round 2: 

Girardot steps inside.  Girardot backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Allie lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Allie tries to land a right hook, but Girardot blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Allie throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Allie ties up his opponent.  Girardot is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Allie is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Allie and breaks the clinch.  
Allie sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
It looks like Girardot has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Allie digs in a solid right uppercut to Girardot's body.  
Allie hits home with a right hook.  
Girardot tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab.  
Allie feints a left hook, but Girardot is not fooled and lands with a solid left hook.  
Allie hits home with a sharp cross.  
Girardot advances into close range and throws a left hook, but Allie holds on to his opponent.  Allie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Girardot lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Allie gets on the inside.  Girardot hits home with a firm left hook.  
Allie lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND SENDS GIRARDOT TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Allie lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Allie feints a jab, tricking Girardot into launching a left uppercut counter.  Allie springs the trap and counters with  a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Girardot gets on the inside.  Allie drives a solid left hook into Girardot's ribs.  
Girardot steps inside.  Allie lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Allie ties up his opponent.  Allie leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Allie hits home with a stinging cross.  
Girardot lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Girardot advances into close range.  Allie lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Allie connects with a firm left hook.

Allie feints a right, and then hits home with a forceful left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE GIRARDOT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Allie throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging cross.  Girardot almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Allie pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Girardot tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Girardot steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Allie quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a FIERCE right hook.  GIRARDOT IS HURT!  
Girardot could be stopped here, if Allie can find the right shot!  Allie SLAMS a HUGE right hook into his opponents face.  GIRARDOT HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Allie!
