Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/03/2042 from Mexico City, Mexico:

The Mexico City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Senon Oquendo (26(1) - 23) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Ulises Plasencia(2 - 11) from Tijuana, Mexico.

Oquendo gets on the inside and connects with a sharp right hook.  
Plasencia throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Oquendo clinches his opponent.  Plasencia leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Oquendo pushes his forearm into Plasencia's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Oquendo to stop fouling.

Oquendo is on target with a left hook to Plasencia's body.  
Plasencia steps inside and walks Oquendo down, trapping him on the ropes.  Oquendo throws a left hook, but is not on target.  Oquendo clinches his opponent.  Oquendo is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. As they grapple, Plasencia pushes his forearm into Oquendo's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Oquendo lands a solid left hook.  Oquendo clinches his opponent.  Plasencia pushes his forearm into Oquendo's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Oquendo is looking to close the distance.  Plasencia throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Oquendo to the neutral corner.  He tells Plasencia he will lose a point if he continues to foul.  
Plasencia digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.
