Mardian Blanco vs Scott Kellie

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/04/2042 from Quebec City, Canada:

The Quebec City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Mardian Blanco (25 - 7) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Scott Kellie(2 - 3) from Quebec City, Canada.  

Round 1: 

Blanco feints a cross, tricking Kellie into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Blanco is waiting for the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Blanco switches the action to the outside.  Blanco feints a jab, and then attempts to land a cross, but Kellie sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Blanco steps away from his opponent and hits the target with a spiteful jab.  
Kellie walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Kellie sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Blanco lands a hard jab.  
Kellie is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Blanco steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Kellie advances into close range.  Kellie steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Blanco is whaling away with hooks, but Kellie keeps his defence tight.  Blanco digs in a right hook to Kellie's ribs.  
Blanco switches the action to the outside.  Blanco stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Kellie finds the target with a jab.  
Blanco lands with a hard jab.  
Kellie closes the distance.  Blanco pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Kellie lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Kellie lands a cross.  
Kellie advances into close range.  Blanco attempts to land a left hook, but Kellie slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Blanco circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Kellie throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Kellie tries to step out of his opponents range.  Blanco lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Kellie gets on the inside and connects with a left uppercut.  Blanco ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Kellie pushes his forearm into Blanco's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Kellie throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Blanco snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  Blanco tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Kellie is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Blanco lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Blanco's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
