Bryan Gavin vs John Chisholm

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/04/2042 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Bryan Gavin (45 - 12) who hails from Miami, USA and John Chisholm(1 - 5) from Baltimore, USA.  

Round 1: 

Gavin connects with a cross.  
Gavin is on target with a solid right hook to Chisholm's ribcage.  
Gavin is looking to close the distance.  Chisholm lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Gavin ties up his opponent.  Chisholm is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Gavin steps inside.  Chisholm goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Gavin's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

Gavin walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Chisholm throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Gavin holds on to his opponent.  Gavin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gavin to stop fouling.  
Gavin closes the distance.  Chisholm throws a left uppercut, but Gavin ties up his opponent.  Gavin leans on his opponent using all his weight. As they grapple, Chisholm pushes his forearm into Gavin's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Chisholm about fouling.
