Asif Sad vs Atif Nahra

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE National Finals 2042,  taking place on 26/04/2042 from Sharjah, UAE:

The Sharjah venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have a Quarter Final fight in the Lightweight divison.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Asif Sad (1 - 1) who hails from Sharjah, UAE and Atif Nahra(20 - 17(5)) from Sharjah, UAE.  

Round 1: 

Nahra lands two left uppercut's to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Nahra closes the distance and is on target with a right hook.  Nahra clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Nahra pushes his forearm into Sad's face.  The referee warns Nahra and breaks the clinch.  
Nahra feints a jab, but Sad does not fall for it and is on target with a solid right uppercut.

Sad lands a right hook.  Nahra ties up his opponent.  Nahra is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sad tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Sad is on target with a right hook.  Nahra holds on to his opponent.  Nahra leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Nahra lands a right hook.  Nahra attempts to land a left uppercut, but Sad slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Sad hits home with a solid right hook.  Nahra ties up his opponent.  Nahra throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Nahra to stop fouling.

Sad drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  Sad tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Nahra manages to force Sad into the blue corner.  Nahra digs in a right hook to Sad's body.  
Sad connects with a left hook.  
Nahra lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Nahra lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Nahra is looking to close the distance.  Nahra pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Nahra lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sad throws a right uppercut, but Nahra clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sad lands an overhand right.  Sad throws an overhand left, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Nahra gets on the inside and manages to force Sad into a corner.  Nahra hits home with a right hook.  Nahra ties up his opponent.  Sad tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nahra's kidney. The ref breaks Nahra's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Sad tries to land a right hook, but Nahra slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Nahra pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Sad tries to step out of his opponents range.  Sad sidesteps to the left of his opponent, but Nahra finds the target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nahra's trainer is advising his fighter to keep his distance and coast to the win.

Sad is on target with a jab.  
Sad lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Nahra lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Nahra lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and an overhand right to the head.  
Sad attempts to land a cross, but Nahra dodges the shot and counters with a forceful right uppercut.  SAD WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Nahra is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Nahra lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES SAD!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Sad cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Nahra!
