Carlos Neri vs Berto Burgos

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 04/05/2042 from Tijuana, Mexico:

The Tijuana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Carlos Neri (17 - 12) who hails from Mexicali, Mexico and Berto Burgos(2 - 16) from Tehuacan, Mexico.  

Round 1: 

Neri connects with a sharp cross.

Burgos attempts to land a right uppercut, but Neri slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.

Neri connects with a cross.  Neri attempts to land an overhand right, but Burgos sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Burgos gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut.  
Neri is looking to keep his distance.  Neri quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Burgos throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
