Fraser Horne vs Cole Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 07/05/2042 from San Antonio, USA:

The San Antonio venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Fraser Horne (47 - 12) who hails from Houston, USA and Cole Jones(1 - 0) from Detroit, USA.  

Round 1: 

Jones finds the target with a jab.  Jones tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Jones pivots from in front of his opponent, but Horne drives a right hook into Jones's body.  
Horne steps inside and drives a right uppercut into Jones's body.  
Horne steps inside and forces Jones to back into the ropes.  Horne sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

Horne throws a right hook, but is off-target.  Horne ties up his opponent.  Horne pushes his forearm into Jones's face.  The ref breaks Horne's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Horne drives a right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Horne feints a right hook, and then tries to land a jab, but Jones sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Horne advances into close range and manouvers Jones into a neutral corner.  Horne drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.

Horne sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Horne hits home with a left uppercut.  
Horne steps inside and walks Jones down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Horne is on target with a right uppercut.

Horne steps inside and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Jones throws a left hook, but Horne holds on to his opponent.  Horne leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Horne lands a left uppercut.  
Horne gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Horne connects with a right hook.  
Jones attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Horne time to recover.
