Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/05/2042 from Mexico City, Mexico:

The Mexico City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Zelipe Marcello (23 - 9) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Declan Sam(1 - 0) from Kumasi, Ghana.  

Round 1: 

Sam is looking to keep his distance.  Marcello hits home with a stinging cross.  
Marcello advances into close range.  Marcello quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Marcello throws a left uppercut, but misses the target.  Marcello clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Marcello pushes his forearm into Sam's face.  The ref breaks Marcello's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Marcello hits home with a right hook.  Marcello holds on to his opponent.  Sam pushes his forearm into Marcello's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Sam throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Marcello sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a sharp right hook.

Sam sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Marcello tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Marcello is looking to close the distance and drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Sam is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Sam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Marcello finds the target with a jab.  
Sam throws a left uppercut, but Marcello holds on to his opponent.  Marcello leans on his opponent using all his weight. Marcello is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Marcello.  
Marcello advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Marcello gets on the inside.  Sam drives a right hook into Marcello's ribs.  
Sam connects with a right uppercut.  
Sam throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Sam pivots to the right of his opponent.  Marcello tries to land a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sam quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Marcello drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Marcello tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sam lands a left hook.

Marcello steps inside and drives a solid left uppercut into Sam's liver.  
Marcello walks Sam onto the ropes.  Marcello lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Marcello holds on to his opponent.  Marcello leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Marcello's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Marcello is looking to close the distance.  Sam is on target with a right hook to Marcello's body.  
Sam tries to step out of his opponents range.  Marcello tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Marcello manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Sam digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Marcello lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Marcello hits home with a left hook.  
Marcello is looking to close the distance.  Sam drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  Marcello ties up his opponent.  Marcello leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Marcello's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
