Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 15/05/2042 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Xaverius Acosta (27 - 6) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Spencer Bowen(2 - 7) from Boston, USA.  

Round 1: 

Acosta connects with a right hook.  
Acosta finds the target with a jab.  
Bowen gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Acosta lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Acosta lands a firm left hook.  
Acosta closes the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Acosta is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Bowen forces Acosta to back into the corner.  Acosta lands a cross.  
Acosta steps inside and manages to force Bowen onto the ropes.  Acosta pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bowen tries to land a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Acosta digs in a sharp right uppercut to Bowen's body.

Bowen hits home with a left hook.  
Bowen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Acosta lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bowen steps inside.  Acosta lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Bowen steps inside.  Bowen quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a right hook.  
Acosta lands a stinging left hook.  
Acosta lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Bowen gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Acosta dodges the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Bowen throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Acosta clinches his opponent.  Acosta is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Acosta.  
Acosta lands a left hook.  
Acosta drives a firm right hook into Bowen's body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Bowen's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Acosta lands with a ramrod jab.  
Bowen steps inside.  Acosta connects with a sharp right hook.  
Acosta gets on the inside.  Bowen hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Acosta pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Bowen's ribcage.  
Acosta walks Bowen into the corner.  Acosta throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Acosta clinches his opponent.  Acosta uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Bowen behind the head. Bowen is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Acosta lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Acosta steps inside and throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Acosta holds on to his opponent.  Acosta is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Acosta lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
