Loredo Hoyos vs Izunna Oparaku

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 21/05/2042 from Havana, Cuba:

The Havana venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Loredo Hoyos (41 - 5) who hails from Havana, Cuba and Izunna Oparaku(1 - 11) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  

Round 1: 

Oparaku hits the target with a ramrod jab.  
Hoyos connects with a firm left hook.  
Oparaku is on target with a left hook.  Oparaku attempts to land a cross, but Hoyos dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Hoyos pivots to the side of his opponent.  Oparaku tries to land a left hook, but Hoyos blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Hoyos advances into close range and forces Oparaku to back into the ropes.  Hoyos lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hoyos lands a stinging jab.  
Hoyos drives a sharp left hook into Oparaku's ribs.  
Oparaku is on target with a left hook.

Oparaku throws a right uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Hoyos ties up his opponent.  Oparaku is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hoyos snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Hoyos digs in a stinging left hook to Oparaku's body.  
Hoyos slams a nasty left uppercut into Oparaku's body.  OPARAKU IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Hoyos drives a sharp right hook into Oparaku's body.  
Hoyos sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Oparaku tries to land a left hook, but Hoyos blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
