Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 11/06/2042 from Ponce, Puerto Rico:

The Ponce venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Olindo Ruedas (59(1) - 13(1)) who hails from Ponce, Puerto Rico and Gauvain Lemartin(21 - 23) from Pikine, Senegal.  

Round 1: 

Lemartin gets on the inside.  Ruedas lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Ruedas quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a sharp cross.  
Ruedas switches the action to the outside.  Ruedas feints a left hook, and then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lemartin closes the distance.  Ruedas digs in a right hook to Lemartin's ribs.  
Ruedas is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands with a solid jab.  
Ruedas connects with a stinging overhand left.  
Lemartin gets on the inside.  Ruedas connects with a left uppercut.  
Lemartin strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Lemartin advances into close range.  Ruedas drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Lemartin advances into close range and is on target with a sharp left hook to Ruedas's body.

Lemartin is looking to close the distance and walks Ruedas onto the ropes.  Lemartin hits home with a firm right hook.  Lemartin attempts to land a left hook, but Ruedas parries the shot and counters with a left hook to Lemartin's body.  
Ruedas lands with a sharp jab.  
Lemartin steps inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Lemartin steps to the outside.  Ruedas lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Lemartin lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Lemartin manages to force Ruedas onto the ropes.  Ruedas throws a left uppercut, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Ruedas clinches his opponent.  Ruedas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Ruedas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Lemartin drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  Lemartin tries to land a left uppercut, but Ruedas sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Lemartin closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but Ruedas ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Lemartin pushes his forearm into Ruedas's face.  The ref breaks Ruedas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Lemartin sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Ruedas lands a ramrod jab.  
Lemartin gets on the inside.  Ruedas is on target with a left uppercut.  Ruedas holds on to his opponent.  Ruedas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Lemartin lands a solid cross.  Lemartin throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Lemartin feints a jab, but Ruedas ignores the feint and lands with a right uppercut.  
Lemartin advances into close range.  Ruedas goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Lemartin time to recover.  
Lemartin manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Lemartin drives a right uppercut into Ruedas's ribcage.  
Lemartin pivots to the side of his opponent, but Ruedas hits home with a left hook.  
Lemartin drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Ruedas lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
