Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 13/06/2042 from Oxford, UK:

The Oxford venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Sam McCune (21 - 9) who hails from London, UK and Jose Curto(2 - 17) from Malaga, Spain.  

Round 1: 

McCune lands a left hook.  
McCune hits home with a firm left hook.

Curto attempts to land a left hook, but McCune blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
McCune advances into close range and attempts to land a left hook, but Curto sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Curto tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
McCune throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  McCune ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McCune pushes his forearm into Curto's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McCune to stop fouling.

McCune throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  McCune ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks McCune's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
McCune gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Curto throws a right hook, but McCune clinches his opponent.  McCune leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Curto gets on the inside.  McCune tries to land a left hook, but Curto sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
McCune throws a right hook, but misses the target.  McCune clinches his opponent.  Curto leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Curto uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits McCune behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Curto to stop fouling.  
McCune is on target with a left hook.

McCune quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  McCune lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  McCune tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
