Paul Foyle vs Ioakim Akinfeev

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 17/06/2042 from Nassau, Bahamas:

The Nassau venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Paul Foyle (60(1) - 6) who hails from Nassau, Bahamas and Ioakim Akinfeev(3 - 8(2)) from Samara, Russia.  

Round 1: 

Akinfeev pivots from in front of his opponent.  Akinfeev throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Foyle advances into close range.  Foyle sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a solid left uppercut.  
Foyle strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Foyle advances into close range.  Foyle retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  Akinfeev tries to tag Foyle on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Foyle lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Foyle clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Akinfeev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Foyle lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Foyle attempts to land a jab, but Akinfeev sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Foyle gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Foyle ties up his opponent.  Foyle is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Akinfeev steps to the outside and attempts to land an overhand right, but Foyle slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Akinfeev attempts to land a left hook, but Foyle blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut.  
Foyle hits home with a left hook.  
Foyle steps away from his opponent.  Akinfeev connects with a cross.  
Foyle closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Foyle closes the distance and digs in a firm left uppercut to his opponents body.  Foyle tries to land a left hook, but Akinfeev sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Foyle closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Foyle hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Akinfeev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent, but Foyle connects with a cross.  
Foyle steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

Akinfeev pivots to the right of his opponent.  Akinfeev throws a right hook, but Foyle holds on to his opponent.  Foyle tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Akinfeev's kidney. Foyle is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Foyle and breaks the clinch.  
Foyle lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Foyle drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Akinfeev pivots to the right of his opponent, but Foyle drives a stinging left hook into his opponents body.  
Akinfeev pivots to the right of his opponent.  Akinfeev tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right uppercut.
