Matt Steele vs Mark Griffiths

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 24/06/2042 from Miami, USA:

The Miami venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Matt Steele (54 - 14) who hails from Jacksonville, USA and Mark Griffiths(1 - 1) from El Paso, USA.  

Round 1: 

Steele finds the target with a stinging jab.  
Griffiths sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Steele attempts to land a right hook, but Griffiths sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Steele strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Steele lands a jab, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
Griffiths advances into close range.  Griffiths pivots to the right of his opponent.  Steele throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Steele holds on to his opponent.  Steele pushes his forearm into Griffiths's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Griffiths tries to land a cross, but Steele dodges the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Steele steps to the outside.  Steele drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Griffiths throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Steele contemptuously drops his hands, trying to provoke his opponent.  Griffiths attempts to land a cross, but Steele sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Griffiths is keeping his hands low...it looks like he wants his opponent to throw first.  Steele is on target with a jab.
