Takeo Higashi vs Satoru Yamashiro

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Takeo Higashi (62(13) - 8) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Satoru Yamashiro(1 - 0) from Saitama, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Higashi is looking to close the distance.  Yamashiro throws a right uppercut, but Higashi holds on to his opponent.  Higashi pushes his forearm into Yamashiro's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Higashi steps to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Higashi is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Higashi steps away from his opponent and connects with a stinging cross.  Higashi throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Higashi is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Higashi lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS YAMASHIRO!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Higashi lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND SENDS YAMASHIRO TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Higashi!
