Ian Flores vs Ellis Belvin

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 22/07/2042 from Houston, USA:

The Houston venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ian Flores (27 - 7) who hails from Houston, USA and Ellis Belvin(1 - 5) from Huntsville, USA.  

Round 1: 

Belvin lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Flores lands with a hard jab.  
Flores steps to the outside.  Flores feints a jab and triggers a left uppercut counter from Belvin.  Flores springs the trap, countering with  a right hook.  
Flores lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Flores lands a left uppercut.  
Flores is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand left.  
Belvin steps inside.  Flores is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Belvin manages to force Flores into the blue corner.  Flores lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Flores drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Belvin lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Belvin throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Flores lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Flores steps away from his opponent.  Flores feints a jab, fooling Belvin into launching a right uppercut counter.  Flores is waiting for the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Flores switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a stinging jab.  Flores tries to land a jab, but Belvin dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Flores hits home with a stinging right uppercut.  
Flores throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Belvin advances into close range.  Flores lands a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Flores's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.

Belvin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Belvin lands a left hook.  Belvin throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Belvin gets on the inside and throws a left uppercut, but Flores clinches his opponent.  Flores is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Belvin sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits the target with a stiff jab.  
Flores switches the action to the outside and lands a jab.  
Flores throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Flores lands with a hard jab.  
Flores is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head.
