Jax Raposo vs Kolzak Anyukov

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 26/07/2042 from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil:

The Rio de Janeiro venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Jax Raposo (55(15) - 10) who hails from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Kolzak Anyukov(1 - 0) from Moscow, Russia.  

Round 1: 

Anyukov attempts to land a right hook, but Raposo sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Raposo throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Raposo walks Anyukov down, trapping him on the ropes.  Raposo lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.

Raposo closes the distance.  Anyukov throws a right hook, but Raposo holds on to his opponent.  Raposo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Raposo steps inside.  Anyukov throws a left hook, but Raposo holds on to his opponent.  Raposo throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. 
Raposo digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Anyukov throws a right hook, but Raposo clinches his opponent.  Anyukov leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Anyukov pushes his forearm into Raposo's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Anyukov.  
Raposo lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Raposo is on target with a left uppercut to Anyukov's body.  Raposo holds on to his opponent.  Raposo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Raposo's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Raposo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Raposo throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Raposo holds on to his opponent.  Raposo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Raposo hits home with a solid right hook.  
Raposo lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Raposo clinches his opponent.  Raposo leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  Anyukov almost instantly recovers. 
Anyukov attempts to land a left hook, but Raposo dodges the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Raposo sidesteps to the right of his opponent, but Anyukov drives a sharp right hook into Raposo's body.  
Anyukov drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Raposo lands a double left hook to his opponents head.

Raposo drives a powerful right uppercut into Anyukov's ribcage.  ANYUKOV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Anyukov almost instantly recovers.

Raposo thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Anyukov away.  Raposo digs in a potent right hook to Anyukov's body.  DOWN GOES ANYUKOV!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  
Raposo walks Anyukov onto the ropes.  Raposo lands a left uppercut to the body, a cross to the head and a right uppercut to the body, DROPPING ANYUKOV TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Anyukov's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!

Raposo walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Raposo lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Raposo holds on to his opponent.  Raposo pushes his forearm into Anyukov's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Some sustained pressure from Raposo could be enough to finish Anyukov!  Raposo SLAMS a VICIOUS cross into his opponents face.  ANYUKOV IS DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Raposo!
