Angel Cardenas vs Fadei Obmochaev

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 30/07/2042 from Mexico City, Mexico:

The Mexico City venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Angel Cardenas (34 - 10) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Fadei Obmochaev(1 - 3) from Bratsk, Russia.  

Round 1: 

Cardenas advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Cardenas steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Cardenas sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Obmochaev attempts to land a right hook, but Cardenas sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Cardenas walks Obmochaev down, trapping him in the red corner.  Obmochaev throws a left hook, but Cardenas ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cardenas sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Obmochaev attempts to land a left hook, but Cardenas sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Cardenas throws a left hook, but misses the target.  Cardenas holds on to his opponent.  Cardenas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Cardenas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cardenas is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents liver.  
Cardenas lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cardenas lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Cardenas drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Obmochaev throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Cardenas closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Cardenas holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cardenas pushes his forearm into Obmochaev's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cardenas to stop fouling.  
Obmochaev gets on the inside.  Cardenas digs in a right hook to Obmochaev's ribs.  Cardenas holds on to his opponent.  Cardenas throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cardenas about fouling.  
Cardenas sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Obmochaev throws a left hook, but Cardenas holds on to his opponent.  Cardenas leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Cardenas hits home with a firm right uppercut.  Cardenas ties up his opponent.  Cardenas is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
