Goro Tanaka vs Yuichi Fukuhara

Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/07/2042 from Tokyo, Japan:

The Tokyo venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Goro Tanaka (47 - 10) who hails from Machida, Japan and Yuichi Fukuhara(5 - 9) from Sendai, Japan.  

Round 1: 

Tanaka is on target with a jab.  
Tanaka is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Tanaka sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Tanaka quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and hits home with a firm cross.  
Tanaka feints a cross, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Tanaka steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Fukuhara gets on the inside and manages to force Tanaka onto the ropes.  Tanaka lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Tanaka tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tanaka steps away from his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  Tanaka tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Fukuhara is looking to close the distance.  Fukuhara pivots from in front of his opponent, but Tanaka hits home with a left hook.  
Fukuhara strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Tanaka pivots to the right of his opponent.  Tanaka connects with a left hook.  Tanaka tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Fukuhara tries to keep the action at long range.  Fukuhara quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Tanaka is on target with a spiteful jab.  Tanaka tries to land a cross, but Fukuhara sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Fukuhara steps inside and manouvers Tanaka onto the ropes.  Fukuhara pivots to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right hook to Tanaka's ribs.  
Tanaka is looking to keep his distance.  Tanaka drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Fukuhara lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Fukuhara lands a cross.

Fukuhara forces Tanaka to retreat onto the ropes.  Fukuhara pivots to the side of his opponent and drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Tanaka lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Tanaka clinches his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
