Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 31/07/2042 from Pittsburgh, USA:

The Pittsburgh venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Ethan Jarvey (38(4) - 16) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and Ian Pont(1 - 2) from New York City, USA.  

Round 1: 

Jarvey hits home with a sharp cross.  
Jarvey steps inside and lands a right uppercut.  
Jarvey manouvers his opponent into the blue corner.  Jarvey drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Jarvey sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Jarvey pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a sharp left hook.  
Pont sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Pont throws a right uppercut, but Jarvey holds on to his opponent.  Jarvey leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Jarvey's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Jarvey lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Pont gets on the inside.  Jarvey drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Pont throws a right uppercut, but Jarvey clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Jarvey pushes his forearm into Pont's face.  The referee warns Jarvey and breaks the clinch.  
Pont throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Pont quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Pont is looking to close the distance.  Jarvey lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Jarvey is on target with a cross.  
Pont closes the distance.  Jarvey digs in a sharp left hook to Pont's body.  
Jarvey lands a left hook to the body, a cross to the head and a jab to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Pont steps inside.  Jarvey senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Jarvey lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body, KNOCKING PONT DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  It looks like Pont has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Jarvey manouvers Pont onto the ropes.  Jarvey connects with a stinging right uppercut.  Jarvey clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Pont pushes his forearm into Jarvey's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Jarvey gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Pont lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Jarvey advances into close range and lands a stinging right hook.  
Jarvey lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Jarvey gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Jarvey closes the distance.  Pont drives a right hook into Jarvey's body.  Jarvey holds on to his opponent.  Jarvey uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Pont's kidney. 
Pont attempts to land a cross, but Jarvey slips the shot and counters with a firm right uppercut to Pont's body.  
Jarvey is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Jarvey forces Pont to retreat into the red corner.  Jarvey is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.

Jarvey is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Jarvey is on target with a left hook.  
Jarvey lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Pont attempts to land a right hook, but Jarvey dodges the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut to Pont's body.
