Boxing Daily Report from the Amateur Boxing Club Challenge,  taking place on 01/08/2042 from Leeds, UK:

The Leeds venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  


Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 3 round matchup are Noel McRay (20 - 4) who hails from Blackpool, UK and Rhys Rhys(1 - 3) from Swindon, UK.  

Round 1: 

Rhys throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

McRay steps inside.  McRay pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
McRay is looking to close the distance.  McRay sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
McRay feints a jab and triggers a left hook counter from Rhys.  McRay springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.  
McRay steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Rhys tries to tag McRay on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Rhys lands a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...McRay's trainer is telling his fighter he is winning comfortably and should get on his bike for the remainder of the fight.
